About Me
As a child I had two passions: designing dresses and creating intricate Lego structures! This love of creative design and technical precision fuelled my teenage ambition to become an architect and I’ve never wavered from that goal. I wanted to bring my passion for creativity to my designs and create unique spaces families and businesses could be proud of.
I spent 13 years developing my design skills at an architecture firm in Nottingham, where I specialised in domestic projects. When our children came along, I wanted to work flexibly, so I took the leap and set off by myself.
Working for myself has given me the opportunity to focus on the parts of the job I now love – helping my clients transform their spaces with creative, unique designs, bringing more joy to the way they live and work.
How I work
My clients’ needs always come first. Listening is one of my key values and it’s always where I begin. During our time working together, I’ll work hard to make sure I have a deep understanding of what you want and need from your space. My role is to listen and provide inspiration, ideas, and guidance.
We’ll try out several different options and work at a pace to suit your needs and timeframe. My priority is always to help you find a design solution that will transform your space and bring more joy to the way you live and work.
We have recently lived through our own home project, so I know how challenging it can be, but also that the result makes it all worth it. I have an excellent working relationship with other industry professionals, so I can help to make the process as smooth and easy as possible.
